There’s also Humber Bay Park West, the views of downtown Toronto from here are beautiful with the lake setting. You can picnic here when the weather is perfect outside with BBQ’s set up and picnic tables. It can be hard to find one when it is nice out but if you come early you will be guaranteed one. If you have a dog you can let your dog roam freely in their dog park. This place has it all with walking and biking trails and even an area to launch your boat. If you’re in the mood, I have even seen people fish here. It is also great for bird watching which you can find many species. Some of these would include waterfowl and shorebirds. This is also a great walking area as it connects to Humber Bay Park East. I have only myself walked the West part and have come here in the summer for a picnic in the park. It can get a bit breezy so you may want to bring a sweater or jacket in the fall.
On Labour day weekend when the Canadian National Expedition closes for the summer and they put on the Snow Birds show, this place is one of the best to see the show free. Last summer I came here just for a regular picnic and got to see some of the show. I didn’t expect it but in the end, I saw the show.
The views here are amazing of downtown Toronto. I personally think the best in all of Toronto. I come here all the time to just take in the views. You realize how small you are in a world so big. It’s always my go to spot to walk and then take a breath while looking at the scenery.
